Attic & Roofline Spray Foam Insulation

Texas attics can run far hotter than the outdoor high. Sealing the roof deck with spray foam keeps that heat out of your ductwork and your home.

Turn a hot attic into conditioned space

In a traditional vented attic, insulation sits on the attic floor while the space above it bakes in summer sun. Your ducts and air handler are up there, too — pushing cool air through some of the hottest air on the property.

Spraying foam on the underside of the roof deck and gable walls seals the attic off from outside air. The space stays close to indoor temperature, so the system works less and rooms below stay more even.

  • Lower attic temperatures in summer
  • Less strain on attic ductwork and HVAC equipment
  • Fewer hot upstairs rooms
  • Sealed against dust, pollen and pests
  • Usable storage space that stays cool

What to expect

We protect the living space, prep the attic and spray the roof deck and gables to the specified depth. Old floor insulation can stay or be removed — see insulation removal.

Is your attic a good candidate?

Signs include upstairs rooms that never cool down, an AC that runs constantly in July and August, high summer bills, or ductwork and equipment located in the attic.

FAQ

Attic & Roofline Insulation FAQ

Still have a question? Call 9402910138 or send a quick request and we will get back to you.

Should I remove my old attic insulation first?

Not always. If it is clean and dry, it can usually stay. If it is damaged, wet or soiled by rodents, removing it first is the better choice.

Does a spray-foamed attic need vents?

No. A foam-sealed roofline is designed as an unvented, conditioned attic. Existing vents are closed off as part of the job.

Will spray foam hide a roof leak?

Foam does not stop roofers from finding leaks, but any active leak should be fixed before insulation goes in. We will flag anything we see.
